You are not alone. Do not lose your passion for what is right. Find a way to make a difference. Find a way to change the world, even if it's just a small part. btw, i've turned in the form and our duet is registered, Now we need only 2 things, a piece and an accompanist.

"But look on the bright side. At least, not that the Brady bill is gone, you’ll be able to get a machinegun for the upcoming civil war!"

Sarah... The Brady bill was possibly one of the worst pieces of legislation to ever pass in this country, overpowered only by the Patriot act, Proposal 2, and the 1968 Gun Control Act (the one declared unconstitutional about ten times over and yet somehow still enforced). Machineguns are not legal, and haven't been since 1934. They're also illegal under Michigan law. Please, for the love of god, get your facts straight!

So you are angry. And on bad principles, no less. You've prayed to God twice and expect him to come running? I think you should put just a little more faith in him before you turn away.
And tell me. You don't like Bush. Would Kerry have been better? I am not so certain about that. In any case, what will you do now? Will you learn 'O Canada'? Or will you hit back until you're every tooth and nail lays broken defiantly at the feet of the beauracracy?

Well, that's the biggest piece of superiority bullshit I've ever read. Do you honestly think that there aren't religious people who voted against Bush and prayed hundreds, thousands, millions of times for him to go away?

Stop with that worthless bullshit, because let me tell you, there are people who are "good" and Christian who detest Bush and his right-wing religious fanatic principles. There are people out there that view 100,000 civilian deaths due to "collateral damage" as more morally repugnant than the idea of two people of the same gender loving each other freely, with total consent.

Bad principles? Look over your principles again. So God didn't come running to Sara...why didn't he go running to those other Christians who prayed hard? Or are they not True Christians(TM? And don't forget gay Christians who prayed hard as well. Or do you think gays are all satanists by definition?

I'll start putting faith in your non-existent, disgustingly immoral, sex-obsessed sky-daddy when he actually does something worth having faith in!

I'm not exactly sure that I'm welcome to have read this journal, seeing as how I have been a bitch to the author, but honestly, I came across this and well, curiosity killed the cat I suppose ( ... )

You are always welcome.
And don't worry if you were a bitch to me, I rather think I was one back. And quite honestly, since your first apology I haven't even thought about it. People are allowed to critize me and even *gasp* NOT LIKE ME. So I wouldn't worry about it. But thanks loads for your thrilling opinion and royal beat down of will.
