Passion, outreach, and losing faith

I am contemplating being self-absorbed in this current work situation of ours. Isn't that scary? I am actually thinking about jumping ship--being jaded, apathetic, and uncaring.  Because well, that is expected of me.  I should only think about my job description; I should only think of myself and I shouldn't think about other people.  They won't ( Read more... )

well--you don't have to have your heart on your sleeves to care.

Being jaded can sometimes help you help more people--how? By not being emotional about things so you can see the solution without being clouded by it--emotions.

I have heard said that modern evil is when good men do nothing.
Administrators thrive on avoidance of any disruptive force; placate eternally.
If you listen to your boss and your office environment you will never become the Fool. The Fool is the fellow who follows the serendipitous path, with all it's folly, that leads to living your passion.
After all, what is it that you wish to take with you when you move on- your pension? or the journey of the risk of faith?
