i bought my macbook today. it gets warm really fast. i'm really bad at typing on laptops. also, this thing is massive, so massive, that i don't even want to try to put it on my lap. i'm really tired. i've been up for almost an entire day, so this whole thing still feels quite surreal to me. my pinky fingers' nails are too long to type write. this ( Read more... )

i haven't posted anything because i don't know how to do anything D: this computer feels so weird. my other one was is like an extension of my soul. this one doesn't even feel like it's mine (but maybe that's because it doesn't know any of my usenames yet.)

wow i hope mine doesn't break. it was like $132. that is too many dollars to break. i haven't even really attempted to use the tablet yet as a drawing tool. i've just been using it as a mousepad, lol.

it's really massive. my arm was sore from carrying it from Best Buy to my car. hopefully the bag i bought for it distributes the macbook's weight better than its case did.

I got it from Best Buy because Future Shop doesn't carry 17" ones. i also sort of kind of know someone who works at Best Buy, so he gathered all of my stuff and it wasn't confusing or stressful or anything.

lol, I'm happy steve is confused too. msn must come for macs. it is my main form of communication :(

i think that is the general consensus.

that is exactly why i don't like buying expensive things from the internet.

lol! there was one exactly like that at best buy and my dad was like, "what is wrong with this one?" and i was like, "=/ everything."

i downloaded msn but it's like msn from 2005. there isn't even handwritten messages. when i told mom that i can install all of my sims once i install xp she was like THIS IS FOR SCHOOL ONLY. it is august :(

sorry but i only have room for one msn converser at a time in my life~

I felt the same way when I got mine... now I'm not used to typing on regular keyboards.

i hated my macbook when i first got it; there's a definite learning curve where you have to adjust. now i could never switch back to using a pc! :)

i miss how simple pcs are. it just took me almost 10 minutes to figure out how to change my desktop background. macs are weird and complicated, which is weird since they're supposed to be so simple and userfriendly. but despite that, i'm definitely loving my macbaby :)

i felt the same way at first, but now macs seem so much more simplistic. i dunno, i think i was just so used to pcs that i was overthinking the same tasks on my mac. it was almost a "there's no way it can be that easy!" sort of eureka moment. ^-^
