while waiting to cross the street at Spring and 12th street, i witnessed this scene.

I see no shortage of ill-advised road crossings by impatient and/or stupid pedestrians. It annoys me that pedestrians don't get a lot of respect from motorists around here, but then I see that a lot of them don't deserve any.
