Firefly's Glow is Moving to AO3

At this rate, all the big archives for my fandoms will be found at AO3.  And, I'm okay with that.

I wish the folks behind Area 52 would consider this option, if, for whatever reason, they're unable to get the archive back up and running.  Area 52 would be is a tremendous loss to the Stargate fandom

I think maybe it is something that people are picking up from other sites.

I see it quite a lot on YouTube it really doesn't make any sense to me at all. What is the point of being the first to comment if you don't have anything interesting to add to a conversation.

I hope it stops soon.

I agree about Area 52 at least making a back up to AO3 partly because it is the first place people tend to look nowadays for fanfiction and would mix old writers with new writers. Maybe encourage new writers to write for Stargate.

I've actually seen, a time or two, someone just posting "First comment!" and nothing else. It's mystifying, as there's nothing at all impressive about being the first one to comment. It's a little mean, too. Imagine the poor author thinking they've gotten a real comment on their fic, then seeing that. Oy.

Maybe I'll just chalk it up to "Crazy kids!" ::g::

It's a real shame about Area 52. I doubt it's coming back. I wish there was a way we could get the site's owners to move it to AO3. That'd be nothing but good for the fandom, indeed.
