I don't care that I'm late to the party, I'm just glad I stumbled upon this. It's fantastic. Both writing styles flow very well together. Very good first chapter.

Joker's intro here is nothing short of spot on and hilarious. His ensnaring that unfortunate businessman into one of his spur of the moment 'things' that he just does was perfect. As was his idea to evacuate the bar and await Batman's inevitable reveal.

I love the imagery of Batman's outer disposition as man-of-few-words contrasted to what's really going on in his head while he has Joker pinned. It's so like him to be at odds with himself on the inside while trying to remain a stone to the rest of the world. Bruce's brooding and frustration with the Joker sets this up for a perfect Bat corrupting opportunity for the clown. :D
