{.It’s The Wrongs That Make The Words Come To Life.}

[The Terran Rebellion. Not her first choice, but she’d had little success on Vulcan. All the tales of the glory of her people seemed to be anything but the truth- the secret history that they clung to. On the contrary, they looked more and more to be fairy tales every passing day. First dominated by the Terrans and now the Klingon-Cardassian ( Read more... )

[ uhrua, on the other hand, was not having nearly so complicated an internal debate. just doing some comparative research on romulan and vulcan dialects with the wealth of unfettered information available to her in the station's archives. she hadt her padds in hand and was on her way to the promenade for some coffee, but noticed someone... skulking, really, more than walking, and wondered if she was a new arrival. ]

Are you looking for something?

[She whips around at the voice, her expression as close to surprise as a Vulcan could really come, and stares for a few moments before finding her voice.]

Terran. Why are you here?

My name is Uhura, and I'm here for the same reason you are.

[ yep, new arrival. uhura made her tone gentle, fanned her hands temporarily to show she's not a threat. ]

You're on Shtel Nor. It's a refitted Cardassian station that's been abandoned for decades - more importantly, it sits in a kind of temporal nexus. People from all different timelines are pulled here.

[It sounded like a trick. It couldn't have possibly been the truth. It was far too...illogical. But then, she could not recall arriving, let alone leaving where she had been. So...could it have been what happened? Though the line between ally and enemy seemed to be blurring and she almost couldn't distinguish either. Tread softly.]

...I see. If that is true, I suppose I will discover soon enough.

[ Disorienting was an understatement when describing the initial confusion of arriving at this place. Where exactly he was had eluded him; It seemed to be a vessel of some sort, of what construction he was not entirely certain. He reached for his communicator, but upon opening it he realized that there was no Enterprise to receive it. He made the attempt regardless, adjusting the frequency tentatively and repeating Spock to Enterprise a few times before placing the device back in the belt at his side.

The next logical course of action was to gather more information about this place. Perhaps if he could find a console he could figure out where he was and find a way to get back to the Enterprise. Upon seeing her, however, he stopped in his tracks and observed from a distance before making his presence known. ]

It would appear that we are both unfamiliar with this place.

[Another Vulcan. Fascinating. Though something about him seemed both familiar and off, though she could not say what either item was. Not without further observation or questioning. Though it seemed that she might have an opportunity here for both.]

So it would seem.

[ He took a few more cautious, though not at all labored, steps towards her. She was obviously Vulcan from the way she carried herself on top of the other physical characteristics, but he also felt as though something about her was off. ]

I am unfamiliar with this vessels construction. [ He said, somewhat distracted as he got a good look of the corridor. His gaze fell back on her after a moment. ]

Are you a member of Starfleet?

[His steps toward her were matched by her own backwards as she gave the closest thing that she would to a derisive snort.]

Starfleet? Hardly.
