[Julian was having a wonderful morning. He wasn't sure if he'd stopped smiling yet. Was he humming, even? He'd awoken early, and had been pleased to find Gaila still curled up against him. He'd stayed watching her sleep for a while, marveling at how he'd managed to find a woman who seemed to accept him just the way he was. Then he'd very carefully extricated himself and grabbed a quick shower. Now, he was busy trying to prepare a breakfast for her. Not that he was doing the cooking much himself, but he wasn't sure what she usually ate in the morning so he was replicating quite an array of things to be in the safe side. He snuck a bite of the bacon, then ordered some more of it. You could never have too much bacon. Oh, and orange juice. Freshly squeezed (well as much as a replicated item could be 'fresh'). Coffee was, of course, a given. But not of the raktajino variety, although he did order one for himself. He artfully began arranging what he'd selected on a large tray. Was the rose too much? Probably. He ditched the rose. Then paused, made a face, and put it back on the napkin...]
