[It was, she was discovering, not quite so simple to navigate her way around this place. She had thought she had taken the correct route to Sickbay, and ended up in the gardens instead. Somehow, the thought that this place had a garden of all things struck her as highly illogical-

-and then she remembered precisely where she was. The entire thing was illogical.

The angry man wandering around did seem to want some kind of alone time. Consdiering her own recent... bout with her emotions, she was torn between approaching and satiating her curiosity about that oh so similar uniform, and leaving the man alone.

Eventually, she settled for simply walking in to the garden and seating herself on the grass just far enough to away to play the role of the stranger she was, but close enough if he wished to speak with her.]

[McCoy was not in the mood to talk to anyone, whether they had pointed ears or spots, after his discussion with the Spock hailing from another timeline and his achievement at riling the doctor up more than he already was. He was enjoying this isolation as the other Spock had called it, when he sensed someone lingering behind him and he looked back questioningly after quickly wiping at his eyes with the cuff of his sleeve.]

[She raised an eyebrow as she noticed the evidence of tears left in his eyes- it hadn't been so long since her own, after all- and, deciding not to comment on them, gave one soft question.]

[He tried to ignore that quirk of the eyebrow from the Vulcan woman and looked forwards again. After a moment of silence, he answered:]

No. I just wasn't expecting anyone else to be skulking around here. [There was another pause, before a bitter chuckle parted from his lips.] Seems like I picked the wrong Goddamn day to come here.
