[It seemed like most of the bleeding had stopped, though he was still having a little bit of trouble with the whole thing- his head hurt like nothing else at the very least and the entire front of his shirt was covered in his own blood, along with his hands and several places on his sleeves ( Read more... )

[ She had been thinking about dining in the Promenade for a change and maybe getting a nice glass of wine when she spotted Alex all bloody and injured. Her eyes widened and she immediately hurried over to him, fretting and likely mother henning already. ]

Are you alright?!

Huh?

[Not exactly articulate, but he didn't really care. It took actual effort to open his eyes and face the lights again, but he managed to look over at her for a few short moments before he dropped his head to the bar in front of him.]

I'll get over it.

[He blinked a few times at the totally unexpected move, but found that he couldn't say anything remotely resembling intelligent.]

[lili didn't have much to do around the base, and so she spent a fair amount of her time exploring. today, she'd found the promenade and its bar and was trying to figure out how to order herself a drink and what she wanted to have when she saw alex take his seat at the bar.

her eyes widened when she saw the state of his face and his clothes, and she dashed over to see what had happened.]

What happened to you?

[That was a voice he recognized, even if he'd only met her once. Still he somehow managed to look up at her- and even got in one of his amazingly stupid grins.]

I figured out that I'm amazingly good at pissing women off.

Evidently. How bad was it?

[she went behind the bar and rummaged around a bit until she found a first aid kit and a couple bottles of water, then came back around and sat in front of him.]

And where exactly are you bleeding from? It's kinda hard to tell by the state of your shirt.

Bad enough that she hit me.

[He watched as she moved around behind the bar, wiping at his face futilely with his sleeve as he answered her second question.]

Well if I had to guess, I'd say it's mostly from my face, since that's where she hit me.
