halting his approach to sickbay (the logical place that one would bring an individual in such a condition) as he spotted the young woman leaning against the entrance supports, sarek just held back. information and an explanation would come in time. ]

crossing over to the small office, sarek paused, holding the door for the young woman to enter before him. as soon as they were all present, sarek turned his attention towards kirk. young and yet still a higher ranking than he remembered. the differences in their realities were as fascinating as they were troubling. ]
