[ there was little on the academy that wasn't somewhere in the stations database. it was fairly easy to tweak a simple, default outdoor program to resemble the academy green. gaila waited in the holosuite, clad even in starfleet regulation trackpants and a t-shirt, with an assortment of sports equipment lined up at the edge of the field

[ Jimena walked into the holodeck with a smile on her face as she looked out at the familiar field. She, too, was dressed in trackpants with a tank top on inside out. She pulls her hair into a ponytail as she walks over towards Gaila. ]

So what did you have in mind?

[aeruginous]

[ gaila smiled brightly in greeting, hands on her hips. ]

How about field hockey? There are some preprogrammed teams we can call up if you want.

Sure. Field hockey sounds good.

prepare to suffer through something pink knows less than nothing about.

[aeruginous]

[ she picked up two sticks, tossing one to jimena. if jim didn't request a team, gaila wouldn't either - one on one was more fun anyway. ]

Computer, run field hockey simulation.

[ two nets appeared, one at either end, with a ball in the center. lines became imprinted in the grass. ]
