[Odo sat in his chair, reviewing the security report he'd written for the incident at the dance party. While he hadn't been that thrilled with taking no action, he had decided to honor Doctor Bashir's request not to pursue the matter further. after taking a brief walk around the station kira had found herself with nothing to do - as usual. the lack of anything, even a report or a discussion over the stations criminal activity was... annoying. she knew that odo would be busy with the report - at least he had something. quite frankly she enjoyed spending time with odo, and their morning report sessions... well it hadn't been a bad way to start the day - and could be something to do again. going to the nearest replicator she replicated something a little like this, to brighten up odo's office with -- it'd been abandoned for far too long. he was already there when she arrived, reviewing a padd. just like odo ( ... )

But then again, she'd brought him something similar as a housewarming gift as he recalled. One, which he'd later destroyed in an emotional outburst. It was not a memory he particularly wanted to revisit.
But the gesture...it still touched him. No-one else had thought to make an effort. Only Kira.]
Thank you. It was very thoughtful of you.

[Odo went to greet whomever it was at the door, and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was Kiele Nar. He'd known she'd arrived on the station but hadn't had an opportunity to touch base with her yet.]
Commander Nar. It's good to see you again. Please come in. What can I do for you?

[He indicated for her to make herself comfortable on one of two chairs in front of the desk.]
Several of the key personnel, yes. It's curious as to who has been pulled here and who has not. It doesn't seem entirely random if you ask me.
