[He'd been watching her for the last few seconds in silence. He almost didn't want to interrupt- she was having so much fun after all- but he knew that if he didn't, bad things would happen. So he stepped out of his "hiding place" shaking his head at her.]

Oh come on, I'm not even that tipsy yet.

[ She looks up at Deven and grins a grin that's really more of a leer. ]

And you have got to try this drink. It's called "Sex with the Captain."

[ She grabs one of the glasses labeled "YES" and holds it out to Deven. ]

Here, try this, it's pretty good. A bit heavy on the caramel flavoring, but good.

[ She grins and hands him the small glass of turquoise something or other. ]

Oh, all this? I'm making a list of good drinks for a drinking contest I managed to coerce the station's resident Cardassian ass into. It'll be interesting to say the least.

[ She looks up at Jim and grins. ]

[ Jimena pauses at that and straightens unconsciously. ]

[Gaila had decided to venture out of her quarters, finally free of her headache. she'd had to stop by sickbay to get checked out, but after that she'd decided to head to the promenade. even if no one was there, it was sure to be better than sitting in her room feeling sorry for herself.

she noticed someone already at the bar - a blonde someone. she frowned and took a second to place the name to the face, and then she remembered - the female version of jim she'd met a while back.

gaila hadn't exactly been in the best state of mind the last time she'd talked to her, so she probably hadn't been as friendly as she normally would have been, but hopefully she could make up for it now. she walked up to the bar, offering her a little smile and nodding towards the array of mixed drinks before her.]

What're all those for?

Cocktails. I'm testing them out to see how good they taste and how potent they are. I'm having a drinking contest... eventually, so I'm making a list of drinks for that.
