deanna had asked the computer for a station overview and had gotten a list of other crewmembers from the enterprise - specifically enterprise-e. after deciding among who to visit deanna made her way to ops, where the captain and a place of possible answers was, central ops was where command should be. after finding a hopefully appropriate turbolift, deanna made her way, keeping a hand half-pressed against her head ]

[ central ops wasn't what or how she'd expected, though ship designs differed greatly with each class so having an expectation wasn't always the right thing to do. she liked the peace of the place though - it gave a nice place to talk, and a slight escape away from the crowd that followed her head, even if briefly
she stepped down from the turbolift, giving the captain a smile as she approached ]

Ops was really the only place he could think of where he wouldn't be distracted. Not too many people went up there, he thought, so it would be perfect. Last time he had tried the observation deck the distractions had come by in droves.
He was entirely surprised, therefore, to find anyone in the room let alone the captain. Echoes of the last conversation- he hadn't exactly been subordinate- they had had ran through his mind for a moment and he wondered briefly whether or not he should turn and leave, but he had already interuppted, so he took a deep breath, screwed up his courage, and stepped into the room.]
