Lauren, you have no idea. I'm so sorry you went through what you did with your mother. =( It's the bus equivalent. I don't know which is worse, honestly. I get to be here to watch my mom die, but then when she does, I actually think its going to be a relief. I mean, she'll have finally passed the place where she doesn't hurt anymore, and she can rest. It's going to be hard, and I'll miss my mama, but she'll go back to the earth to rest, y'know? It makes the death itself easier, even if the process is hard to go through.

On a happier note. I AM GOING TO LIVE BY TYRA'S MOTTO FOREVER. I really, really love her. I mean, she's a fashionista and a model and all of these things I'm traditionally not into, but all she's ever preached is learning for yourself and your own beauty and self esteem and image and I LOVE HER.

This cold is a pretty mild one. I've had to cancel clients, which is a bummer, but they'll all reschedule so I just get to rest. It's good.

Let me just put it out there that if you ever just need to vent and it feels too close to the bone to do with your IRL folks, know that you have a pair of ears in me, whenever. Honestly. I'm an east coaster, but I stay up late. We can even high-five when we're through. ;)

Scrolling up, it makes me positively giddy to think of you and psyfi doing a sequel to Getting Off on Hold. Once again, Tyra knows just what to say ....
