G. 700 words give or take. For photo prompt #5, image beneath the cut.

They read the book on the lawn in front of the library and he talks about sand and monkeys and zebras for an hour. Later it's Morocco, Alaska, France, Argentina, the moon.

Wow, it's awesome that your childhood was that cool. My childhood wasn't really anything like that, I had to get my rural rambles out in high school and college (and I did, whoo boy.)

XD; I was a military brat so we moved a lot... but every time we visited my grand parents (they live on a farm) and all of my cousins/aunts. It was just like this. <3 Not sure I got in many fist fights tho... I think I got into a couple of hair pullers with the cousins tho. XD;
