That’s what a creature with more than a millennium on him did, lest he let the darkness consume him completely.

Poor 10. :( I always felt that that's what happened to him, actually, after he lost both Rose and Donna--he spiraled until he ended up 'Time Lord Victorious.'

Nicely done! :)

I think so too. It was heartbreaking to see him come crashing down like that. Like Donna said, he needs someone to stop him.

But mostly he needs a hand to hold~! *SOB* (This is why I am in denial of JE so much.)

Thank you!

This is lovely. Such gentle rises and falls in emotion, and I do love some good introspection. Well done. =)

That was wonderful, the emotions and fear of the Doctor and Rose soothing him. The hope they had and the Doctor knowing that he's not perfect but remembering what, or who, makes him better.

Yes! I heard this song and this idea has actually been floating in my plots list for a while. Thought it was about time I tackled it. Came out nothing like I thought it would, but I like it and I'm glad you did too!

Two hearts equaled twice the heartbreak.

This is how I’ve always seen the Doctor. He cares so much, without even really saying it, but it’s so evident in all his actions and when his companions leave or he leaves them, it’s always so painful.

This was a sweet exploration of how Cloen and Rose came together.

*Urg* Yes. It makes me cry anytime I think about a Doctor out there without a Rose - even though he has more friends and a whole lot of *family*, he just causes me too much heartache. He sacrificed so much to give a part of himself and Rose their happily ever after that I had to explore it - especially when I heard this song and couldn't stop thinking about Cloen and Rose. I never thought I'd finally write a post-JE fic, but I'm very glad I did and am glad you liked it!

This was really sweet. I love how you tied in her tracing his wrinkles to her tracing his scars.
