Oh man, this punched me in the heart-face on Tumblr earlier, and now it's done it again on livejournal. This is achingly pretty, and even without the gifset, you've painted everything so well and, ugggh, this is either going to have to stop here or turn into just awful, confusing blathering where I paste your entire fic back to you and say things like HOW DO YOU WRITE PHRASES LIKE THAT, WHERE DO THEY COME FROM, HOW ARE THEY SO LOVELY

I'm glad the ending was effective. I was actually going to kill Rose off, because there's nothing better than a grieving wangsty Doctor, but then... this just wrote itself as a happier ending. I mean, it's sort of vague, so she could still die but. XD

I also saw the gifset on tumblr and flailed all over it and now I've just flailed all over this too. GORGEOUS, simply stunning work darling. The world you've drawn is so evocative and despite being an AU there is this very tangible Doctor/Rose feel in the two of them which is always so important.
