I love this, I love *all* of this, it's gorgeous, but but but ... I love THIS most of all:
The second night, they die together at the Torchwood Estate and birth a world of metal men and desolate beaches where crying girls say goodbye. It's midnight.
YOU INCORPORATED DAVIES HEAD!CANON ON HOW PETE'S WORLD WAS BORN!!!
I AM ALL CAPS ABOUT HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS!! =D =D =D
Originally, he wanted Tooth and Claw to include a potential alternate ending (presumably where everyone dies) that would spin off Pete's World. So, the actual existence of Pete's World would be due to a timeline where "Things Went Wrong" in Tooth and Claw (which makes tons of sense since there is no monarch in Pete's World, and no Doctor, and no Rose, and it's VERY close to the proper universe, which would imply they only recently split apart).
He decided it was too complicated an idea to get across on TV though, so it never made it into the final script - but that was his (general) idea. WHICH SHE SO BRILLIANTLY INCORPORATED! =D
I loved this: But the final night tastes fresh. They start on a beach in Norway, a beach they know too well, and grow into a love always remembered, a love with wings and kisses in Barcelona (the city, mind you) and cherry lips against wet skin in the bath. Another night, and a child is born; another night, and a TARDIS bursts into life; but this night, this last night, they laugh at graying hairs and voting for conservatives and chiropractors, they find the noblest of friends in this night, and perhaps, they are ready for death when it comes for them as they sleep.
They are holding hands when the clock strikes twelve.
Thanks! I like that bit, too. I didn't want this just to be some big old blood bath or whatever. I actually planned out five alternative death scenes, and it was just going to be about how life ain't a fairy tale because Rose keeps dying in all of these worlds.

It is so poignant and beautifully written!
