The Bad Wolf scattered herself through time and space. Her trail through Rose Tyler's life was rather more complicated than a road map to Satellite Five. Rose simply didn't recognize the key she had always been holding until she was presented with the right door.

This is lovely. You've got her character down really well, and all the subtle connections you made to her future were absolutely perfect. Well done!

Thank you! This is particularly flattering because I wrote it longhand wedged into the middle seat on a plane and posted it jetlagged, with no idea of whether it was going to make any sense to anyone else. :P

Jackie and Rose's relationship feels spot on to me. Wee!Rose being determined to face the monsters from the tender age of five is adorable and perfect. And I see that little Season 4 reference there. Nice.

This was brilliant! I've always thought "Bad Wolf" followed Rose throughout her life too, not just once she met the Doctor. I like the inclusion of Luke as well.

I love this backstory. Rose is so perfectly teenaged in this but still very much the Rose that we'll know.
