The feeling that courses through him upon that sight is utterly indescribable. It feels less like an emotion and more like something alive, something clawing at his insides for freedom.,

And: Emotions he can't allow to live or else they would grow independent from him, making his decisions and wrecking his hard work. oh, Doctor. His carefree act really is just an act. He takes his responsibilities, his "with great power comes etc." so very seriously. And then there're the bit where he heard her vows already and I cried and OH SHIT MY HEART. This is painfully good stuff.
