He turns the shed into a workshop, where a burgeoning TARDIS grows out of an old television and spills over into a toaster oven, and she plants sunflowers under the kitchen window.

This is all so so so so so wonderful darling, and I love the last paragraph most of all.
Oh my god. I'm completely awestruck by how well this complements we write our tragedies in the stars, which I loved with a burning passion. This one is sadder, quieter - there's less bombast, but full of everyday colours like getting bandaged up on a toilet seat and the hope of sunflowers under a kitchen window. It's beautiful and achingly vivid, in all its own way. The two balance each other out just so perfectly, I can't even.
Thank you so much, bb. I worry that it doesn't live up to its predecessor, but I'm so glad you liked it. I thought perhaps I wouldn't see a comment from you for a while, I know how terribly busy you are, but this makes my day.
As if I could ever, ever say no to a Lindsay fic, even in the middle of exam week! But that comment was way too short for my liking, and totally did not adequately convey how much I love your writing. Nothing I say ever could, so here, have the biggest heart that this comment box will allow:
