I'm in love with your fic and I want to have it's babies. Is that weird? That's weird, isn't it?
Seriously though, your Nine voice was pitch-perfect. I loved his insecurities and how they were reflected by Rose who had her own. It was so lovely, I loved the tone of the whole piece and the theme of saving up memories. Just beautiful.
oh my God, oh my God. I am so astonished by how many of the fics this week have just knocked me off my feet and this is no exception. It's so gorgeous, all the way through. Even though I will forever have Ten pegged as the more romantic Doctor in my heart, this just makes SENSE for Nine, in a really lovely way. And his little acknowledgment of what he's stocking up...oh. Beautiful, bb.
Absolutely gorgeous. You have such a way with Nine/Rose that just takes my breath away....literally. I have so many perfect lines that I just don't know where to begin because I'm still rereading and rereading just to feel that warm, breathlessness when someone writes Nine/Rose the way it should be. You really 'get' them as someone else mentioned.

Pretends that this isn’t just the effects of Bob Marley and native beer on a warm night. Pretends that she wants him. Tries to both live in this moment as completely as he can, and save every detail - a memory he can bring out on a less-kind day. He stocks-up.Many don't see Nine as being loving or romantic. They are missing the point. I think he was the most loving and romantic out of the bunch because of his realization that he was so alone. Oh, your comment pleases me no end! It's funny, I saw Eleven first, then Ten, and Nine last...but Nine is the one that convinced me that the Doctor loved Rose, and that he was in love with Rose. I think he was incredibly romantic, it just manifested itself differently (PotW still makes me cry - every single time).
Regarding the song they dance to... I have to confess, I listened to the Marc Reilly BBC6 while I was writing part of this, and when CE mentioned that song it just felt perfect for the scene (and I have to say, I agree with him - I like the Jamaican version better myself). :)
