Oh, this is lovely. Neither of them quite recognizing the other in the second half; turning the shadow thing into a Vashta Nerrada threat; the dreamy, childlike tone... gorgeous.

This is just completely beautiful. The Doctor is perfect as the boy who never grows up, and Rose as the girl who always is at heart, waiting for him to come back and sweep her off her feet. Gorgeous ♥.

It's the first and only lie he ever tells her.
