For those who have seen Jurassic Park and can fill in the bits, this was AWESOME! I'd love to see a fleshed out version of it some day with a bit more Doctor and Rose together. And this:
“What, double clicking on yes?” Rose said. “You’re so lucky Lex is here-you just wait until we get back home, I’m telling Mickey everythin’.”
The Doctor groaned. “Great, made to feel like a prat by Mickey the Idiot.”
“You know when you were a kid, and you got really obsessed with dinosaurs and had to watch all the documentaries about them…”
SO TRUE. Man, when I was five? I knew *everything* about dinosaurs. I was gonna be a paleontologist, and it was gonna be AWESOME.
The Doctor glanced down at the bicycle helmet he was trying to shove into his backpack. It was proving difficult thanks to the springs and antenna he’d attached to the bright blue plastic. “It’s my… beta and alpha wave synchronizer.”
*heart melts*
And then I had to stop putting in my reactions in real time because I had something to say for every sentence.
