They called, 2 o'clock sharp. Asked a few questions; I tried to make very clear that I have quite a bit of lab science experience, although skirting the issue that technically my chemistry experience ends in highschool. They asked me a few easy questions, and then hit me with a hard one(below). I gave an answer, but it was clear from their tone ( Read more... )

I think yours is a perfectly logical and more common-sense answer to the one that scientific purists (particularly government-sponsored ones) would want to hear, that being "Unequivocally disregard." Just my hypothesis for their behaviour.

That was basically my final answer, albeit worded more diplomatically, because it was not explicit in the question asked whether I could weasel my way out. Thanks :)
