Hey, of course I remember you silly.
Where I live (semi-ghetto, but TONS of college kids live here) is the Riverside area. This is where you'll find the cheapest living on bus routes. I live on pleasant valley/oltorf to be exact, and apartments in this area are cheap and only about 20-40 minutes away from campus (no traffic-traffic).
I pay $320 a month for rent (furnished!) after utilities it's about $425/mo. including water, elect., earthlink.
The cool thing about these apartments is that they lease by room, so if for some reason your roommates suck and don't pay their rent you don't have to worry about them or about your getting evicted. if you have any other questions feel free to ask me! my email is joannajax@gmail.com
