Let's try to finish this out, then. Man, if my life depended on coming up with something every single day, I would be screwed. Speaking of which....

Day Twenty-Six: Favorite classical female character (from pre-20th century literature or mythology or the like)

Scheherazade )

Solitaire?... Educate me? (Is she a Bondgirl? Or am I confusing her with someone else?)

Solitaire is my favorite Bond girl. She had magic powers and could predict the future -- sadly, she couldn't any more after sleeping with Bond. :(

Edit!! Apparently Bond didn't sleep with her in the book (because he had a broken finger!!!), which also didn't link her powers to whether or not she was a virgin. In the movie, Bond rescues her, but in the book she gets away and her fate is her own.

Oh right, because viriginity is ~magical*. I remember now.

*Which is actually a really interesting commentary on symbolism, allegiance and devotion, and therefore access to authority and power - especially contrasted with how Bond's allegiance is symbolised - but, well, it's fun to snark. >.>

Ohhh. Okay then? Broken finger lol. Well, I haven't read many of the novels, but it's nice to know she got away under her own power, then.
