Edit!! Apparently Bond didn't sleep with her in the book (because he had a broken finger!!!), which also didn't link her powers to whether or not she was a virgin. In the movie, Bond rescues her, but in the book she gets away and her fate is her own.

*Which is actually a really interesting commentary on symbolism, allegiance and devotion, and therefore access to authority and power - especially contrasted with how Bond's allegiance is symbolised - but, well, it's fun to snark. >.>
