I haven't gone looking for stories with Bela inner dialog, but this seemed pretty much right on.

Yeah. When I watch those scenes, sometimes it just seems like she's having SO much fun behaving that way. Of course, that could just be the actress having fun, but the layer's there, I think. :)

And yes, poor Moose Sam! :D

Now that you mention it, I haven't seen any Bela pov stuff either. But she's pretty straighforward once we saw her whole story and motivation. I always liked Bela, she was an interesting addition to the hunting world.

I've seen Red Sky at Morning referred to as one of the "worst" Spn eps, but I always liked it. Sam's cleverness at summoning the brother ghost to confront the curse ghost was so cool and the special effect of the two ghosts meeting and dissolving into that big water splash was so neat! And it was fun to watch Dean & Bela spar, and see poor Sam suffer Gert's attentions. ;)

Oh yes. Me too. It would have brought so much more resonance to Dean's story, too. That strike came at such a pivotal point in the series, and really fundamentally changed the whole story.

I agree, there's so much to love in Red Sky. Everything you list was awesome (and Dean hyperventilating over Baby? hee!*flail*); Sam was really beginning to fire on all cylinders at this point, and I loved it. I mean, I get fandom's reaction to Route 666 and even No Exit and so on (although I liked them fine too), but Red Sky? Never really got the fuss.
