Oh, Eliot...

(I've got to say, Sophie and Eliot just being friends is something I really like about this. It feels very true to character.)

Ah, yes. Eliot. (...)

Thanks! I love their friendship, and while a romance between them might be very interesting, it's just not something I can see developing what with everything else they've got going on. So. :)

Hey, I really liked this!!! I love the characterizations here, their friendship, the dialogue - all really realistic. I like that she thinks Eliot would be simpler to fall for but knows that's not how it works. And that conversation about 'yourself' -great job

Thanks! There's something about Sophie and Eliot's interactions that really intrigues me, which I guess is why it's become a series. They bring things out in one another, and see things in each other, that doesn't happen with any of the others. It's like they SEE each other, but maybe for that reason aren't fascinated by each other. Or something. *shrug* Anyway, it's fun to write :)

I love it. There's so many touches here that are just them and you write great conversation.

Thanks! Sometimes I'm tempted to just do pure dialogue and see if I can still catch them. Maybe one day, with the right idea....

I really like the unspoken communication between them here; it's hard to portray that in a phone call, but you do it well. Also, I love the little bit about tea :)

Thanks. There's so much they communicate without words, because they know the other one already gets it. Which is fun, but also excessive to describe sometimes. Gah!

And the tea thing ... I think all expats get that one. :D

although... i do see the possibility of more than friendship between these two.

of course ... i've been seeing that possibility from day one because i just love em both!

really nice job!

Oh believe me, I see the possibility! I just can't make it work in the context of show canon, and since I'm trying to keep these little conversations canon-compliant, that ain't happening. Then again, between S2 and S3, I've got six months to play with without Nate. Which might not won't get them together, but may well stir things up some! *evil chuckle*
