Ohhhhh. Of course Parker would leave her bunny to Hardison. That's a perfect ending. Still so sad, but with a little hope for the future.

By about the third one I wrote, I'd worked out how to have Parker in the last one in spite of being dead (having discovered I'd laid the seed in the first one, which surprised me no end).

And I knew that had to be the last line, because I was already worrying about what would happen to Bunny! It became the right complement to asking Hardison to look after the team; she was giving herself, in the form of both her family and her past, into his keeping, with total faith in him.

*sniffle*

Oh geez, and I though the last 4 hurt. Christ! (And yet I still can't bring myself to regret reading...)

Oh, btw, I don't know if you're American or not, but "fed up" is perfectly acceptable to use as an "Americanism." I use it all the time!

I'm glad you don't regret reading! For the record, my other Leverage fics aren't nearly so angsty. Some are downright cracky. I learned my lesson but good from this series! I even shy away from whump at this point; maybe at some point I'll try my hand at it, but not yet.

I'm not American, but I'm living here at the moment. For some reason it didn't ring true, but my Americanism radar gets a little confused sometimes. So often I'll use a phrase I think is perfectly normal, only to have people around me be all, "What the hell does that mean?" Thanks for the info. :)

Hahaha, see, I adore whump fic from the depths of my (apparently cruel) little being.

Also, yeah, I hear you about "perfectly normal" phrases. lol I'm American living in Switzerland for the time being and I do that all the time in German.

Also part two, I just *love* the way you respond to comments! Makes me feel like it was worth the time to comment in the first place. <3

Well, that's the other thing - I feel like everyone else has pretty much got the whole whump angle covered! They don't really need my help, and I'm betting Eliot doesn't mind the break....

Switzerland, huh? Sounds like fun. Your lot might hold the distinction of being the only team to beat Spain this WC, and the only "first game" winners against the eventual champions ever. Doubt that's much consolation, though. Then again, they may well bomb against Germany. (Sorry, totally OT, there, but WC is on the brain, so....)

And - wow, awesome, thanks. I'm glad it makes you feel like it was worth commenting! I mean, for one thing, I feel like it's simple politeness, considering you actually went to the bother. But mainly, I just really like conversation! Lj-ers seem to be generally good quality for that. And you are officially welcome to comment anytime ;)

Your Parker-voice is so perfect...

This whole fic has been so sad, that I don't really like it, per se, 'cause it makes me sad... but it's still brilliantly written.

I love her making sure her family (including Bunny) is taken care of.

Thanks - I love Parker because, however screwy and bendy her thought processes are, they are also completely linear. Which is a lot of fun. And I like the process of her figuring out what's most important, ie, her family.

Sorry the story made you so sad. I promise that no other Leverage fic I've written is nearly so sad, I really learned my lesson! The crossovers are cracky and silly and a lot of fun, even if I say so myself - and I still tried to keep it in character, so hopefully enjoyable. Thanks for reading and commenting!

See, now I'm crying for real.

This was an amazing fic, and I loved how you went around the team with two people in each chapter, always one staying the same and ending in full circle. You did all the character voices really well.

But I am glad there is a new season now with Parker alive :)

Oh my gosh, so there with you. I started this over the S2 hiatus, and I couldn't believe how happy I was to see her again when the new episodes came out.

I'm glad you enjoyed the structure - that was one of the fun/challenging things about writing this. And that it reads in-character.

(Btw, for the complete other end of the spectrum, written mostly for the craziness, if you want cheering up, you can try my crackier stuff. Here, and here.)
