Although, to be honestly serious for a second, the ins and outs of clear communication is one of my interests/passions. Which becomes fun to be facetious about....
Yeah, there was such innocent delight in that scene. I wish we could go to those places more often, but Show is actually extremely good at working the happy stuff in organically - never getting saccharine or chick-flicky. One of the reasons I (we) love it so very much!
This was the hardest one for me to answer because every single happy scene in Show has an underlying tragic sadness connected to it. Which is brilliant, and depressing, and awesome all at the same time. I ended up picking a scene that just made me flailsquee really hard. :)
It really is in how you define it. I mean, that's part of the "realness" of Show, that it doesn't opt for Hollywood happiness and that in this messed up world, nothing is ever perfectly perfect and happy. But again, that's what makes their happiness earned and shine all the brighter.
Sam killing Alastair? Yeah, I can see massive amounts of flailsquee coming out of your corner for that :) What finished me off was the desperation immediately following: "Miracle! NOW!" The power and the powerlessness in such stark contrast.... *breaks*
Totally. That's the dichotomy of Sam. I love it but there was a part of me in s4 that just ACHED for him that the only way he could have that confidence and power was by selling his soul one piece at a time. I was so proud of him in s5 for regaining his ability to be badass without giving in to his baser instincts. ♥♥♥♥♥

HELLS YES. There was so, so much to be proud of in Sam in S5. I wrote up my answer for tomorrow's thing earlier today, and that's all in there. OMG that boy just kills me.

You crack me up. I love the way you really think about these things.
And that scene with the fireworks was so beautiful - I loved that one.
