You liked it?? You did?? Hurrah! I get somewhat patriotic about Doctor Who, even though I've never thought of myself as a mega fan.

I was hoping 11 would turn out well. I watched it on BBC when it was shown and decided I rather liked the episode, and 11 was very Doctor-ish, plus rather bouncy.

A minute after the end a friend txted me her approval. And then I turned to Twitter, which generally seemed happy.

Now, I'm waiting for any of my flist's opinions, lol. You're the first one, and you're on the positive side :) As previously stated, hurrah!

(I am open to seeing negative opinions, as well, of course - I'm just glad things have been positive, thus far :).

I really kind of loved it. It felt like a nice, fresh start, while nodding back to what's come before. It was a great lot of fun, too. I'm so happy it's back.

Now, I'm waiting for any of my flist's opinions, lol.
Right? I haven't read anybody else's reviews or comments yet, but I'll be going off to do the who_daily reaction post in a bit here, and I'm sure we'll have an avalanche of yays and nays. But, honestly, I'm always interested in seeing the different opinions, which is why I love doing the reaction post.

But, mostly, just hurrah! that it's back and it's fun.

I'll have to pop over to who_daily, to read some reactions. I know some folks had been saying Matt Smith was too young. But again, folks said negative things about Rose and Donna before they saw them as companions, and they ended up very popular with many people.

I'll probably end up watching this ep again, to better appreciate things like the fish custard, lol.
