Doctor Who "Forest of the Dead"

4:30 am -- still hot. Ugh.

But, let's not dwell on that, let's move on to something better, yes? The second part of this year's Moffat story -- "Forest of the Dead" (Part One, here)

Okay, this ended up even longer than part one. Ridiculously long, even. Mostly 'cause I couldn't stop adding pretty pictures.

I thought LJ got stuck in a time warp when I saw this post...

I can't even begin to express how much I loved these eps and though I know it's a vain hope, I can't help but believe that we'll get to see more River at some point. She's so unbelievably brilliant and really quite perfect for him.

Give the man props for continuity and knowing how to take something that's so bleak at the outset and give it massive hope.

I'm definitely, definitely looking forward to Moffat's run. A lot.

No, I'm just that slow. It was the caps, the caps what slowed me down. It was such a pretty episode, though, that I decided I had to do it with pictures.

Very much. It was a brutal episode until the end there.

This show ROCKED som muchly.
I was so tearry eyed.

And may I say that I enjoyed Alex Kingston when she played Dr. Elizabeth Corday on ER.

I've never watched ER, but I thought she was lovely and absolutely wonderful in this story.

Forest of the Dead was fab and I really enjoyed this recap. Have you heard of professor_song? Your comments about the Doctor's emotional cluelessness and lalalala denial of Rassilon made me laugh XD
