I guess that makes it slightly less dreadful. They just seem to be really sloppy. Argh! Killin' me.

The shame, it burns. I am listening to music on headphones at the moment because I need that extra layer of detachment from the travesty on my TV.

Totally. So mortifying. I had the telly on mute, too, and was watching Deadliest Catch on my computer. I could only sort of watch the game out of the corner of my eye. It's over now, but the pain!

Re: Doctor Who. I am mightily glad there is Donna love! Prior to the series starting, I was getting a "We will not like Donna vibe" from some places, partly I think to do with the fact that the actress is a well known comedienne (over here, anyway, don't know about over your side?). I think some folks thought that fact would take them "out of the show" as it were ( ... )

A lot of people not looking forward to Cathrine Tate being on Who 'cause of that. I hadn't heard of her before, so I didn't have that sort of wariness going in, but I can see how some people might worry about it being stunt casting, or something. But, she's just been amazing. She was so good in "Fires of Pompeii", just so wonderful ( ... )

And with all of the "down under" stars we see saying "mate" for buddy/friend all the time we Americans know what it means......we just never say it like that.

TMC!! *hugs you tight and spins in dizzying circles!* I've missed you, chica!

Deadliest Catch is good? I've never seen it, meaning cretkid hasn't infected me with that one yet. I am forever grateful to her for my Mike Rowe obsession. *g*

Two jobs? Most excellent! Also, a job with beer? Might just be my idea of heaven.

I stopped watching BSG ages ago and have no comment for that. Or the hockey, as I rarely indulge my thirst for blood on the ice.

*loves you like whoa*

Scrubs! Howdy! {{{hugsyoulots}}} I've missed you, too.

I love Deadliest Catch. It's not generally my kind of show. I watched the first season and thought "this is completely ridiculous", and I'd just sort of watch when I was bored, and then once I started to recognize the captains and the crew members it started to get entertaining. But, now, it's moved into addiction and I just can't drop the habit. Hooray crab fishing! (and Mike Rowe is the narrator, and he does the specials where he goes up to Alaska and hangs out with the captains).

Two jobs? Most excellent!
I know! I spent a lot of the week overwhelmed, though. But, last night everybody was hanging out in the courtyardy area with beer and white russians and waiting for pizza. That's my kind of environment. (I didn't stay, because, omg so tired, but still, very awesome).

I stopped watching BSG ages ago and have no comment for that.
Ugh. You are wise. I wish I had. Though, I've sort of stopped now. I have no interest in it at all. Blah.

*loves you like whoa*
Loves you lots.

I agree with everything you just said about BSG, except for me, the parody began with the Bob Dylan. Double-you. Tee. Eff. I thought they'd pull me back in, but yeah, so far? Not so much.

Please be writing about Who/Donna ASAP!

Heh. I kept hoping they'd do something at least interesting with that, but no. Same old, same old. Everything back in its place, characters back locked in their never changing ways, never following through on interesting notions. Boring, boring, ridiculous, self-absorbed storytelling. Blah.

Please be writing about Who/Donna ASAP!
Yes! I want to a lot. I will be watching the episode now(ish).

• I want to write about Doctor Who and why I think Donna is so fabulous, but I think I'll wait until after today's episode, just 'cause. Yay new Doctor Who!

Yay!

I have so much Donna love. I liked her in "Runaway Bride", and thought it'd be cool to have her around for the season, but the absolute love just snuck right up on me and whapped me inna head.
