The Ood were amazingly awesome, Dr. Who needs to have Ood wandering around at random in the background of other stories.

Zack may be my favorite guest character ever.

Another reason to be sad the Doctor Couldn't save the Ood. He'd have plenty of room for them in the TARDIS.

Zack was wonderful, but I loved Ida, too, and oh! Mr. Jefferson. This was just a solid, solid guest cast in these eps. Fabulous! Fabulous.

I liked this one mainly (I think) because finally Rose gets to be competent, the Doctor doesn't trade in the universe for her (even if he thinks about it for a bit), the crew felt fully fleshed out even with only a few lines apiece. Also the Satan-worshipping Oods with their little bongs were both sad and terrifying at the same time. A little like the wee boy in the WWII ones last year.
