I'm watching Farscape for the first time since ... uh, the mini-series last year, I think. There are some annoying gaps in our DVD collection, though, and, of course, all the eps I sort of wanted to watch most are on the discs I don't have. /whine

And suddenly I want beer.

heh, i love that moment when he leaves the bomb in the elevator. and the part in the beginning when one of the random guys at the table comments that john is crazy and aeryn answers "yes, isn't it fun?

and the ending you've described perfectly. he's so very pretty, and his response to what's happened fits perfectly. one of the things i've always adored about farscape is how they connect emotion and experience, and then express it. *happy farscape sigh*

and oh yes to the production values. it's gorgeous and exquisite, and so very frelling fine. as much as i love other shows and characters *nothing* has ever been as good as farscape for me. i don't expect anything can be, it's just that astounding. have a great time at the con, and if i didn't have to work tomorrow i'd stay up all night watching farscape. *bg*

Ha ha! thevaliumsofalj has lent me the episodes to fill out my watching. We're watching the LGM trilogy now. I love this trilogy. Crichton fighting off the neural clone by screaming the "star spangled banner" while collapsed on the floor of the depository is genius. Love it.

oh that moment, and those three episodes just stun me every time i watch them. it's almost dangerous to see all three in a row because what's left of my brain afterwards would fit in a teaspoon. *g*
