The moonlight gleamed off the cobblestones as Sophie followed Vincent to the old chateau. She had been following him for a few minutes.

She had to apologize to him for Chris’ behavior earlier. Sophie couldn’t believe that Chris was so childish sometimes. He didn’t understand anything about culture or intelligent conversations. Alexander Lucard was the epitome of the person she desired, but he was a vampire. So, Vincent was the closest thing to her idea, whom was mortal.

She kept the idea of Vincent’s mortality in her head, as she walked into the darkness of the chateau. Her eyes struggled to find Vincent, adjusting slower to the dark than usual. Her heart seemed to beat faster as a sudden wave of paranoia crept over her.

A hand tapped her shoulder softly, sweeping her brown hair a little. She moved slightly, and turned to see Vincent standing behind her. Sophie found herself giggling a little, and was glad her heartbeat had decided to stop its marathon.

“Sophie,” he gave her a sweet smile.

She smiled. “Vincent,” She was about to apologize when he bent over and stroked her hair, his lips pressing nicely against hers.

She felt like she was floating above everything and being able to watch the kiss between Vincent and herself. It was a weird but wonderful experience.

Sophie felt him move to her neck, his arms wrapping around her waist. She closed her eyes and imagined it was Alexander Lucard turning her into his vampire queen. It took a few seconds before she realized that Vincent had indeed bitten her neck and was draining her of blood. A warm tingling feeling was coming over her, and she wondered if this was what an orgasm felt like. She whispered Lucard’s name.

Vincent didn’t seem to notice her whisper, as he was focusing on drawing her sweet tasting blood. He was also trying to figure out the signs of her body that told him when he was supposed to stop. He pulled away after a bit, giving her a bloody kiss on the forehead, before letting her fall softly to the grass.

He flew into the night, and didn’t realize she was smiling. Vincent had given her the opportunity to approach Lucard that she needed. She had no more worries about him rejecting her.
