Mom has been nagging me about her satyr picture for her book (she is finally serious about getting it set up on amazon).

I couldn't find the original, so I redrew it, and I must say it looks much better.  Since Kevin wasn't home, I decided to just start drawing a picture for every chapter in her book.  I've got five chapters'-worth so far.  I have:

One of the many reasons I love Xlormp is that it reminds me so much of my mother's writing.

*lmao* If I could summon them from my Mac at home, sitting with its pitiable lack of internet connection, I totally would. I need to go home and extricate them to put them on Kevin's PC which has the internet on it. OMG CROSS-CONTAMINATION!!! *lol*

I also kind of want to read this book. Sounds a lot like a love affair I had with a vampire book that included Chet the huge shaved cat as one of their important characters.

It is Pretty Hilarious! Of course, I grew up with it so I could have been contaminated. WE CAN'T KNOW! But I pretty much get my sense of humor from my mother. *lol* And she writes ridiculous humor almost exclusively.

Also, OMG WHAT IS THIS BOOK I MUST KNOW???!!!

They're Christopher Moore books. The vampire ones are "Blood Sucking Fiends" and "You Suck: A Love Story". They're based in San Francisco and they are FREAKING HILARIOUS. Chet doesn't show up until the second book, however. But there's also a blue hooker! "A Dirty Job" is pretty great too. That one has hell hounds that eat trash cans and bricks.
