Just a general update for my LJ flist...

I'm modding this year's sammybigbang (Sam Winchester big bang) and have probably not been doing my promotional share over here! It's a mini/big (minimums are 5k/15k) and sign-ups are open until the draft submission date - Jan 15th. That's only a few days now of course but if you have a Sam-centric fic semi-finished in

Season 12 - I feel it's likely to happen, there have been so many positive noises from the top of the CW, the cast want to do it, and the ratings are still strong...

I always get anxious this time of year when we hear buzz about new season pick ups. But yeah, this does feel a little different; maybe it's because the talk is all positive but there's been no action. I think, for the moment, I'm quietly confident but maybe that's because I don't like to think about...well...the end.

As I just sniggered to Amb, I'm almost positive S12 is happening, so fear not!

I need to decide on sign-ups today. I signed up for Sammy art--OF COURSE--but this snippet of Sam h/c fic that might be able to be stretched into a minbang...I just dunno. I'm not sure it has the possibility to be anything more than a wee prompt fill. Like, there's nothing behind it, nothing more powerful than just a little blood-n-grace kink. So that's my big conundrum.

Ooh, Sam/Brady sounds interesting! And having modded a teeny tiny bang, I'm even more impressed by people who mod bangs with more than 4 fics.

And yeah, I totally share your unwillingness to let go of this fandom. :D I've had too much fun writing and making friends here, and I've yet to find a new fandom where I feel so much at home.
