Dead: it's over

You know, she was fat, old and not very active, and I heard constipation happened often in those ( Read more... )

Oh my God, I am so very sorry for your loss. It hurts like hell, but she had a good life and was loved.

Thanks *hugs*. I'm strangely stable right now; I suppose the full wave of pain will come later. It's still surreal in a way.

I am so sorry, dear. *HUGGGGS* I know exactly how it feels to lose a close member of your family as a pet. I consider my pets part of my family. I lost two cats to old age, and a hamster to the same thing your rabbit had. I'm so sorry for your loss. *HUGS*

You're welcome....I wish...there was something I could do to cheer you up. But I know how tough it can be. :(

My condolences. I rather suspected this yesterday, but I didn't want to scare you (cats are the same way, hiding their troubles until it's too late). That's such a terrible way to find out about her condition. I know how devastating it can be to lose a loving companion like Vanille. I hope that all your happy memories with her can bring you some comfort during this difficult time.

Indeed, it was rather shocking to find out. Even as I see her empty cage, I still can't quite wrap my mind around the concept that she's gone. I mean, of all the things I thought I'd lost my bunny to, cancer was the very last on my list.

I'll go to sleep now. Thanks for your comforting words.
