Apologies again for what happened to your robot. We'd put the finished ones in a separate area of the room and were telling people not to touch them, but somebody must have grabbed yours when we weren't looking.

Beyond Cyberdrome started out aimed at adults but over the past few years we have gradually been getting more kids and fewer adults. People also stopped building things before the convention and came to rely solely on the workshop. As a result we've had to adapt the challenges to make them easier. Partly due to this we have decided to give BC a rest next year.

Don't worry about it - I had a lot of fun building it. It's been a long
time since I've had a chance to just build something like that. I'm very
tempted to rescue my childhood lego technic from my parents' house :)

I must admit to not really knowing what to expect as the read me didn't
give too many details. I just happened to be in the room before the session
anyway, so stuck around to find out. Getting kids enthusiastic about
building stuff is a Good Thing(tm) IMO, so I hope you work out the kinks and
bring it back to future cons.
