So it's been a whole year (more so cos I'm slack at writing this on time) since I started my Pound a Day movie project. To recap, there's an XKCD comic about a guy who loves getting packages and sets up a bot to search ebay for items costing $1 or less with free shipping and buy him one of them every day. Someone actually decided to implement

I'm not entirely sure why I got The Sound of Music. It is the 45th
anniversary edition with bonus DVD copy tho, so a bit of a bargin for under
a fiver.

And yeah, I am quite surprised at how little shite this threw up though.
It just goes to show how cheap blu-rays could be if the studios didn't whack
on huge profit margins.

Can't believe _Becoming Jane_ is rated so highly. It's mostly tripe, with James McAvoy making it bearavle. Mind you, I really don't go for Anne Hathaway much.

I guess the ratings are biased towards the sorts of people that like
watching thtat sort of movie? It's one of the more costly movies on the
list too, so I find it has some merit - even if it's just perving over
Hathaway ;)
