For Jackie... (Kiele & Matthew)

jackie_cincy gave me a picture request/assignment. She wanted to see Kiele with Matthew.

I'm on the fence for how they look together...Alain's a tough mold with his refined delicate features. Of course I may just be biased in that any time I look at him I get all ♥♥♥♥!!! about him.

I can't help it...I love that doll.

Personally I don't think they work because he's so Volks and she's so not...if that makes sense.

You're killing me with this girl Lyn, gah! I love the scale but I have to agree the sculpts together don't really move me. Both are gorgeous on their own of course, but I think she looks rather unimpressed with sweet Matthew and I think that is a terrible shame. He's still adorable as ever. One of these days would you mind shooting her with Gavin? This sculpt in tan is eventually going to be a replacement shell for one of my girls and her bf might be a on the slouchy and pale side ^_~

I'm glad you like her...being a bunny girl I swear her real skin is a different color and she photographs darker than she is in person. I'm thinking of getting an SID guy for her in light brown, just because of how she photos.

I will email you pics of her with Gavin...I imagine they may be pretty scary cause his head be teeeny.

I love both of them (Matthew especially) but...together I'm not so sure. Neither of them seem to be engaged in the other's presence. Their proportions to one another are actually fine, but there's something missing.

If you're not feeling it, you're not feeling it. Don't try to force it or you'll wind up in an unhappy place with both of them and that's not right.

BTW, Mini-Brat made it home and has already been to a meetup. I love him so much, thank you for fitting him into your commissions schedule. ♥ It means the world to me that the two of them are both painted by you. Don't think I haven't been eyeing the rest of them, asking 'who wants to go to California next?'
