I've tried writing this three or four times and just not been able to put thoughts to paper, or screen as it were.

I keep having reminders of my own mortality and I do not like it at all. In the last two weeks I have had knowledge of three different people with returning cancers. Three is a big number in my little circle. It makes me start wanting

I texted you yesterday and I'm guessing I have the wrong number somehow. Send me a hi! when you get the chance. 419-367-3221. I promise I won't bombard you. Well, probably not. though my text may have come from my other number, 567-202-1722. I text from that one sometimes too. I, like you, cannot receive pictures on that one.
We've had snow flurries today, just a few flakes, and we have Petanque tonight! I hate the cold! :)

As you already know, I just didn't have my phone on. Which is the better number to contact you at? BTW, you are welcome to text me as much as your cute little heart desires. It was fun to get a text. Haha, I am so behind the times on this aspect of technology. In my defense, it is a really old phone and my finger nails are so long that I have to use a pencil eraser to send texts. Someone in this house thinks they are sexy so I am letting them grow out. I think they are ridiculous looking. :-D

Oh, it seems too cold to Petanque! I am assuming that this is the last night of the season. Have fun! I will tell Craig that you all are playing tonight. That will make him smile.

you can call either. One is my direct cell phone, the other is my google voice which rings my cell phone. If I'm texting from my computer it comes from my google voice number, but it really doesn't matter which one you use for incoming.
People are dropping like flies for tonights game. It's really cold!

It's natural to have those thoughts of your own mortality and to be frightened. I think it's a lot more healthy to be concerned about living than it is to push it aside and say you're not afraid. I know I would be. I'd make my peace with it eventually if I was facing something terminal but that doesn't make it any less scary. * HUGS *
