Hehe--I loved Dragon Age, so I'm looking forward to playing Dragon Age 2. But I can understand how you can get into the Dragon Age world without playing the game, lol. Yes, that makes perfect sense!

I'll be back to check out the spoilery stuff after I devote my life to part 2 . . .

ROSEMARY?! It is an unbelievable and unexpected surprise to see you here! If I could pick the last five people on my LJ who I thought would be into Dragon Age 2, you would have been one of them - but only because I thought you weren't into video games! (Do you have a video game blog, because that I would simply love to see!)

I am so thrilled to find out you like Dragon Age and are looking forward to playing DAII! I would love your thoughts on the game once you've played it - and I would love to find out how you played it. *grin*

Anders tries to be so sweet! Big weakness for blond mages, myself. :(

He should read more of Isabela's books IMO. Isabela has wayyy better lines. Let's hoist your mainsail. HAHAHA. Pirates don't care where they dock! (Ok that last one was really Anders', oh well).

Sarcasm!Hawke responses to Anders are also terribly mean. -_-; But funny.

HAHAHAHAHA I agree! Anders should read more of Isabela's books - his dialogue would improve. :) I did like the docking line, I thought it was a hilarious and apt euphemism. ;)

Deeply funny indeed. :) Can't wait to see how your playthrough progresses.

It was in a very awkward interation where Anders is giving Seneshal Bran a salve for an 'itch'. Hahaha.

One of the co workers is also a gamer. He played angry!Hawke!Mage. Apparently it's also hilarious. Like in Act 1, when you get rejected by Bertrand on his expedition, Carver bitches at you for it, and you can go SHUT UP, I DIDN'T SEE OU HELPING EITHER. And he would be like "O_O Ok."

This sounds like fangirl candy. And also surprisingly like a dating sim? Ha, bet various fanboys' brains are imploding as they work their way through. "Everybody's Bi" ftw!

(Grenade makes me think Bruno Mars should dump his girlfriend, she's clearly nuts and a jerk ... but then, if the guy catches grenades out of love he's not so well-balanced himself.)

I am clearly spotlighting the romance section way too much. But it really is a big reason I played the game! Although... there is a funny Ctrl_Alt_Del comic on the gay romance in the game.

(CORRECT! Bruno Mars songs can sound so sweet and wonderful - and then you listen to the lyrics and you are WAIT WAIT THIS MAN IS A PSYCHO.)

Most everybody seems to be focusing on the romance aspect, so at least you're not alone. And I love the comic.

(But "Just the Way You Are" really was adorable. Jumping in front of a train for love, er, not so much. Just buy her flowers, song!Bruno Mars.)

I love this game to pieces <3 <3, especially all the romances, so cute! Anders is such a sweetheart (if you can ignore the crazy), I do love his confession scenes, despite how hilariously sappy they are, as you pointed out XD. M!Hawke/Anders is definitely my OTP. Totally agree with the comment about Fenris being a classical J-RPG bishounen stereotype. When I first saw him, I was like... his voice is WAY too deep for his pretty, willowy elf figure. And that sword has got to rival Sephiroth's masamune LOL ( ... )
