There is this special temple in Kyoto that always has a banner on its walls with a different message every time I go there. For some serendipitious reason, the messages always have to do with the series I'm into at the moment. oddly enough, i prefer fictional italians to real ones now that i'm being surrounded by them - i don't know how to react to overly friendly male italians and slightly bitchy, too-fashionable female italians, and i don't know how to walk soundlessly enough for the 165 years of combined wisdom of the italians downstairs (landlords to my landlady).
