I'm doing an MA in Documentary Production at Salford Uni. It's mainly a practical course, so the academic bits are a bit of a comedown after the rush of making films. I want to be outdoors with a camera, not indoors with textbooks!
And yeah, academic marking is a bit of a mystery. It's been over 5 years since I did my BA as well, so I'm worried I've completely lost the knack of essay writing. Ah well, I'll find out soon enough.

(b) - Agreed - that's why I took so long to start driving, I prevaricated before getting my IQ test and why I've taken a while looking at the Masters, failure is a bastard and I think EVERYONE who reads this can empathise.
(c) - If you did get a bad mark for these essays, I'm convinced they would notice that and get you help writing essays. As it's definitely not your research, effort, knowledge of the topic or intellect that is lacking judging by your verbal outbursts in and out of lectures.
(d) - No, you've not got it wrong and no, you're not a hopeless fuckwit!
