Self obsession.

I feel disgusting. Warm weather always makes me feel like this. I am so acutely aware of how pale I am, every ounce of unwanted fat on my body feels that bit flabbier and obvious. I just want to cover myself up and hide indoors ( Read more... )

I'm feeling this way right now too :( But it helps that since it's warmer your can walk more to get in shape. For the past week I've been going out walking for an hour with my iPod and it helps lessen that feeling just a bit.

That's true, and for the past few weeks I've been walking home from work, which is about 2.5 miles. And hot weather makes me want to eat less. Hopefully I'll stop navel gazing soon!

Heyyy, I'm sure I saw you in the pub the other week. I would've come over but I am super super shy! Sorry!
It was nice to get a pulp question on the quiz though. :)

ALSO, I'm sure you'll look fab all year round - though I do agree with you, the sun is rubbish.xxx

Boooo! Don't be shy! Was that the Retro Bar quiz then?

Were you also put off by the general obscenity coming from our table or by me pushing down Stevo's toes when he got kramp in the toilet..?!

I agree! She does look fab all year round!

:(

confidence is all about faking it. it's hard seeing millions of other seeming confident women with 'better' bodies out in the sun but i just like to remind myself they're probably lacking in self esteem and won't be looking at my wobbly bits!

I totally know what you mean - the summer is so much tougher when there are things you feel uncomfortable about.

But, I think everyone feels insecure about these things & revealing more. But, I'm sure you look great! As you've said about the other people your size - you're always more critical of yourself!

I think a change in behaviour patterns would help massively...

A good start to making yourself feel good about yourself if you stopped calling yourself fat all the time in conversations, the amount of times you do is incredible and dwarfs the amount of times that you say you like the way you look.

It doesn't matter what size you are or how you look, if you are constantly calling yourself ugly; models and actresses have killed themselves in the past as they believe they are ugly, that comes from not looking at yourself objectively.

You ARE young and in your twenties, you ARE attractive and you ARE less than the average dress size in this country!

Salad and exercise is all well and good (I'm still waiting for you to decide which day you want to return to the gym with me) but you've inherited a very unhealthy character trait from your Mum of constantly putting your looks down and maybe we need to find a way of getting you out of the habit.

Love you loads! You are extremely hot to me :)! xxxxxxxxxxxx
